The Best of 2010!!!
SWNYC Editors, Mike Milan and Harvey Champagne, are pleased to share with you a first annual tradition. We each chose some of our best moments from this year to highlight and share with all of our lovely little street walkers and street walkers lovers. We're simply taking out the old year and bringing in the new one with the very essence of who and what SWNYC is and will remain, as we grow into what we'll become this upcoming year.
Before we give you the goods, we want to take the time to thank everyone who we have been privileged to feature this year, those who have grace our events covered and made it on the site, and lastly those who have allowed us to take their photos while on the streets so we can paint our perfect picture of The Big Apple. Without all of your contributions these streets would be rather empty, and truth be told...we really don't like empty streets. So without further hesitation, have at the goods that made SWNYC's 2010 a special year!

Christmas in the City
The Holiday Season in NYC is something that needs to be seen. Although not as bright as Las Vegas lights, NYC gives you a lot of breath-taking creativity and heart. True to form, Street Walkers NYC walked through the streets and took pictures on 5th ave and around Rockefeller Center. Yes, we braved the frigid temperatures to give you a little bit of what the city has to offer! 5th Ave has some of the most beautiful window displays! We hope that you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them. See if you can find a certain Mr Champagne jumping for the camera!

The ING New York City Marathon
This Sunday was the ING New York City Marathon which runs through all 5 boroughs! As the runners came through Brooklyn, I was able to stroll out of bed and enjoy the contagious energy that consumed the streets. Lots of smiles, cheers and support poured from the sidewalks onto the runners on the street.

Halloween 2010 in NYC
Street Walkers NYC took on the mean streets of New York City tonight for Halloween. It was quite crowded yet full of fun, A LOT of great costumes and even a little debauchery. As the city is huge in and of itself, we decided to go to Manhattan and attend the Village Parade and pretty much stayed below 17th Street where most of New York City was tonight. Enjoy the pictures...

South Street Seaport
Street Walkers NYC took on South Street Seaport this weekend in Downtown Manhattan. An area unlike the rest of New York City and frankly reminiscent of areas like Faneuil Hall in Boston but with a New York City aura and a little bit more of an international type of tourist equipped with breathtaking views of downtown Brooklyn. There's a lot to do on a Saturday on the seaport from dining, to shopping, to kayaking or even just to find peace by the waters...lol.

Chinatown
This weekend, Street Walkers NYC took a walk through the world famous Canal Street in Chinatown. We would have loved to get pictures of all the knock-off labels, but they keep those on lock down now! Anyhoo, here is some of what you will see on a Saturday afternoon in Chinatown, NYC...
